We spend a lot of time at The Alamo Drafthouse theater in Westminster, a unique moviegoing experience which offers a full-service bar, a full menu packed with delicious food (my go-to is the loaded fries), and a variety of classic and current films. The Butterfly Pavilion and Insect Center is a popular attraction that allows visitors to interact with hundreds of live butterflies and insects from around the world. The city also boasts several parks and open spaces, including the Westminster Hills Dog Park, which provides ample space for dogs to run and play. For those looking to shop, the Flatirons Crossing Mall offers over 200 stores and restaurants to explore. And outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park, which is just a short drive away and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

As I mentioned before, the Alamo Drafthouse is a frequent destination when we want to enjoy dinner and a movie at the same time. This theater offers a full menu of food and drinks, including craft beer and cocktails, as well as comfortable seating and top-notch projection and sound quality. They truly care about the moviegoing experience. For those who prefer live performances, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts is just a short drive away and offers a wide range of theater productions, concerts, and other cultural events.
